Example
120 lb woman without implants has 20 lbs body fat.
(20/120)=xvi.7% Trunk Fatty.

Same 120 lb woman with 20 lbs body fat gets v lb implants. And so her full weight is now 125 lbs, including the implants.

(20 lbs fat/125 total weight)= 16% Torso fat

So yes, you may have the aforementioned AMOUNT of fatty, but the Pct of fat decreases because you take more not-fatty tissue in your body now (ie. the silicone).

implants don't weigh much- especially because the conservative size that almost bodybuilders go with. Hither is how to calculate the weight:

Silicone

Silicone:
1cc weighs 0.0375 oz. To calculate the weight of silicone implants, see the directions below.
If you have two 300cc implants then: 300cc x two = 600cc total
600cc ten 0.0375 = 22.5oz
22.5oz divided past 16 = 1.40625 lbs. for both implants

Saline

If you lot accept 2 300cc saline implants then:
300cc 10 ii = 600cc total
600cc separate by 29.574 (to catechumen to ounces) = 20.2880 ounces
twenty.5338 divided past 16 (ounces) = 1.268 lbs. for both implants

i have been told by several people doing my eletronic readings that they do not considering the implants are made by materials that the eletronic pulses volition non penetrate. if you're simily go past weight and your math make sense.

Information technology doesn't affect your fat mass, that remains the same. Information technology does affect the fat percentage calculation if the weight of the implants are included. Your torso fat percentage will be slightly lower as you lot are using a heavier body weight.

Eg
18kg fat / 60kg total = 30% bodyfat (without implants)
18kg fatty / 61kg full = 29.v% bodyfat (with implants)

I heard the same matter too� and even doing some research i found the aforementioned. still look frontward near it. Mine are 600cc each therefore 5lbs both.

Dexa may read implants every bit lean tissue, therefore slightly elevating your lean mass on the reading, but not by enough to significantly touch on your reading.

I accept read that saline weighs more than silicone per cc. So 300cc of silicone would be lighter than 300cc of saline.

62.25kg 137lb and 17.6% body fat

So when property ii x 225cc silicone implants in my hands I weigh

62.75kg 138lb and 17.8% trunk fat

2 x 225cc implants make your trunk fat reading go upwards by 0.two% .
300cc= 0.3% more
450cc = 0.4% more
1000cc = 1% more
